Here you go :) been rather tired and busy recently, hence the short posting. Started Body Shop work today, and it was rather fun being on the shop floor! I'm sure the novelty will wear off soon though.
I was bored during my hour long lunch break, so, as it's 'Well Good Wednesday' (half price piercings) in the nearest tattoo shop, I got my ear cartilage pierced! It wasn't really a spare of the moment thing tbh. I'd been wanting to get it done for a while, but have been too lazy!
Can't post tomorrow i'm afraid, as i'm eating chinese round a friends and staying over. It's her birthday on monday, and I haven't got her a prezzie in time, my mistake!
I bought a card for 57p and doodled flowers all over and chucked in LOADS of multi-coloured stars to make up for the delayed gift. She's SO hard to buy for, I had no idea what to buy her until 20 minutes ago.
Literally, NO idea, so I thought i'd check out Urban Outfitters' even-more-marked-down-sale and bought her a couple or BARGAINS if I may say so!
Here:
The bag was a steal at £9.99 (formerly £38), and so was the necklace tbh-£4.99 (formerly £24) and it's SUPER cute and long chained, I have one similar myself!

P.s. I am literally in LOVE with Florence & the Machine's album, hence the recent specific song lyrics in titles! It's best listened to between the hours of 12-2 am, repeated 3 times. I know, I'm rather sad, but the mood and atmosphere of anyone at that time really reflects the album and it just enhances it, I promise! I should eventually alternate the artist and start a 'guess the name of the artist and song' game (any guesses to the song of this post's title?!?) like the kind of quiz that used to be on saturday night tv when saturday night tv was good. I now solely rely on Doctor Who for my saturday night entertainment, and that's hardly ever on! I know Edith Bowman does it on Radio 1 sometimes. I STILL can't believe they're axing Jo Whiley and Edith Bowman for bloody Fearne Cotton and Greg James! It's idiotic, barbaric, criminal! They're practically asking for the death of the live lounge! If you want, you can read more here: http://www.musicweek.com/story.asp?sectioncode=1&storycode=1038189
Ok, i'm tired, I rant when i'm tired, apologies...oh look, it's Florence time!!! cheerio :)

Mercury Prize nominations came out today, check out the nominees here:

I'd love for Florence to win. There just seems to be a glow around her at the moment, where seemingly nothing can go wrong. However, I'm not surprised if it'll be La Roux as she has the best aesthetics and is the most distinctive and fresh.
I also feel that Friendly Fires are worthy winners. Their debut album is exceptionally good, and with the release of their next single 'Kiss of Life' in September, it's easy to say they could quite possibly explode!
I have a feeling Bat for Lashes may win, as penance for 2007's loss to Klaxons. I'm not sure I can see Kasabian winning. On the other hand, The Horrors could surprise all and pull this one out of the bag. As for the rest, it's all the usual tokenistic bullshit.
I'm banking on Florence and the Machine, and I really hope I'm right!

I'm posting more style-related photos tomorrow night, check back!

Yesterday, I went to Lovebox Festival and it was pretty darn excellent! I was at the front for my favourite artists: VV Brown, Florence & The Machine and Friendly Fires.
What topped it off was that when Florence threw flowers into the audience-I caught them! wooooop :) NO. That's an understatement. It made my summer catching the flowers and being at the front, and I cannot WAIT until I see her again! Her album is purely MAGNIFICENT!

Birthday today...woop..16 :) It was a pretty emotional day tbh! I got a Diana F+ Edelweiss Lomography camera which is great, but god knows how my first photos'll turn out, *fingers crossed*!
I went to Camden with the besties, we didn't get as far as Portobello, that'll have to be another time.
I also received a cute Tiffany bracelet and money, which is always the best present! I'm not really a birthday person, I kinda stopped being excited about the whole thing when I turned 12 I think.
Nonetheless, today was emotional (I won't explain why, it'll take a while!) and fabulous! Here are some of my favourite random (digitalized) pics, feel free to steal if you (really?) want, just credit me.

I'm pretty sure that I could NEVER be a model, seeing as I don't exactly have the 'qualities', hence the lazy eye in the third to last photo and the weird smoking pose lols, i'ms not normally like that :P That's what you get when you're not being told you're having your photo taken (and believe me, there are loads worse on facebook!) It just adds to the hilarity I suppose, the fact that I couldn't be less photogenic! I only included it because Charlie looks beautiful, and that was what I wore, oh and I LOVE the nail varnish.
Bombay Bicycle Club album= pretty damn excellent.
Florence & The Machine album = best album since...FOREVER! (Fucking AMAZING in other words)
VV Brown album= worth every penny.
Just a few music tips for youuu. My week ahead-foreign film sleepovers with chums, music festival, chit chat, shopping, restaurant visits with chums, begging my brother for lifts everywhere, work experience, struggling trying to work out what to wear for work experience, snapping pictures, spending waaaay too much money, eating waaaay too much food, gaining waaaay too much weight...etc etc. I need to get my film developed when I use it all up, hopefully not too long as I can't wait to see how/whether they'll turn out! Listening to Kissy Sell Out on radio, but i'm kinda falling asleep. Nighty night.

It's my birthday tomorrow...16 :) My cake arrived today, and it's got turquoise icing and butterflies, and looks BEAUTIFUL! Unfortunately, my camera is shockingly bad, especially in the dark, and so doesn't show off it's beauty!
Also, some how I accidently turned the date on, and can't get it off :( It's also wrong, which doesn't help! Yes, I do need a new digital camera...when I eventually earn some money!
I'm listening to Natasha Khan (Bat for Lashes) on the radio. I really like her, she seems like an amazing girl.

It's meant to rain tomorrow, so my birthday plans have drastically changed. The besties and I were planning on the beach, but instead we're just gonna head up to London, and probs visit the vintage stores/markets in Camden and Portobello.
Hopefully it'll be a good day-rain or no rain!

Just don't lie to me and I love you so much I'm going to let you kill me

Today, everyone in the entire country was planning on seeing Harry Potter bar my friend and I. So, in suit, we decided to follow the trend. I have never read the books, and from the time since the previous film, I had NO idea what the hell was going on. Nonetheless, it was good.
I also received a work experience placement for every wednesday of the summer at the Body Shop, which will be wicked! They said if I did well, I may be on the pay-roll *fingers crossed*.

I just painted my nails that Barry M colour, hence why i've blogged it! :)

helllooooo :)

Just thought i'd write and tell you that i'm off on my summer holiday tomorrow...TURKEYYYY :D I've never been there before, but i've heard it's nice so i'm really excited!
My friends and I did some last-minute summer shopping today, which resulted in a trilby :) we're all simultaneously going away this week, which is a bit of a coincidence :P but good, because then we won't miss each other too much whilst the other's away!
I unfortunately won't be posting much for around 11 days :( but will make it up by super-posting when I return!

Please carry on commenting on my previous posts, as I check them regularly! Oh, and i'm taking my MacBook to Turkey to keep in touch with tennis news, so I may be able to post!!!

oh, and buy Jack Penate's album, it's pretty epic :) and Anthony & the Johnson's cover of Crazy in Love is soooo good!

have fun, love ya
